books for catsitting duty
Nov. 16th, 2008 12:53 amHeading out to the parents' for catsitting* for Wednesday-Sunday. As always, I cannot decide what books to take. (The problem is that I tend to go "I will read this book and read it now" and which book can change in the time it takes me to write up a book. knowing people want my comments on a specific book helps get me past not being in the mood for what's available.) Here is what lurks around the top of Mt. TBR.
*For newer people: My parents have 2 cats, live 10 miles from town, and like to travel. I am single, childless, and petless. Therefore, I end up watching the cats for them. I have no issues with this (And...err...rather enjoy having a house about 4-5 times the size of my apartment with more comfortable furtniture, a larger TV screen, and a faster internet connection all to myself for a few days.) but they live in the opposite direction from the apartment for everything I might do, and so I rarely come to the apartment when they're out of town. As such, I pack reading/viewing material.
