mishmash from waking up relatively early on Sunday morning

1.  I apparently need 2 icons of Hawkeye pointing a gun at things.  This might be a subconscious result of my sadness at not being able to find Chuck icons featuring Adam Baldwin and Yvonne Strahovsky pointing their guns at things.  Or each other.

Or I may just still be depressed that the Fullmetal Alchemist anime didn't have this scene.

2.  Why is Hazel boring in Saiyuki Reload: Gunlock?  Mind you, I'm not a fan of his in the manga, either, and I've lost interest in his storyline, but at least he was interesting when he showed up.  Also, what's with his dub?  (I can't give it the attention needed for watching it subbed.)  What kind of accent is that supposed to be?  And is it just me, or does his voice actor actually hiss?  Also, Sanzo as a surly tree and Goku barking like a dog has now been joined by Sanzo and Goku in aprons.  Also, I think the anime actually had Gojyo get laid.

3.  I have finally started Patricia McKillip's Riddle-Master trilogy.  Sadly, my attention span (which only has binge or flighty modes anyway) is too shot right now to focus on and medium that doesn't involve pictures for more than 5-10 minutes.

4.  When you're getting over a cold, does a sesame chicken rive noodle bowl count as chicken noodle soup?

5.  Mmm...Eggo chocolate chip mini muffin tops.

ETA:  "Letsa."  I swear Hazel's dub just said "letsa."

ETA 2:  Need of icon of undercover spies pointing guns at things has been addressed.  Feel free to send more.  Have realized that dubbed Hazel adds "-a" to at least one word a sentence.  Off to church now.

Did Saiyuki Reload: Gunlock just have Gojyo make his staff-thingie disintegrate into light or somesuch?  Not that I really have a clue where he keeps that thing, but "summons it from a pocket dimension or something" probably wasn't my main theory.

Unless, of course, this is some sort of manga canon that I've forgotten about.  In which case, I'm shutting up now.

Aaawww.  DVD is paused on sleeping Lirin curled up in a ball.

ETA:  Confusion has been cleared up!  It was just that the disappearing into crackling light confuzzled me!

I understand Clamp put out another half volume or so before dropping the series, but that the material never made it stateside. Are scans still around?

I apologize for not providing more context for Saiyuki Reload: Gunlock comments-especially for those who haven't seen it-but i'm not sure context helps much.

Anyway:

At my girliest and most prim and in my most girlie and prim clothing, I could never hope to look as girlie and prim as Hazel looks in his nightie.  Either while playing cards or while asking Sanzo to run away with him.

I'm not positive, but I think the anime made him even gayer.  Which I wasn't sure was possible.

Though I have to say, the anime making him kinda boring to start with and saddling him with that accent in the dub makes it easier to just hate on him without being interested in his story.
