Expandspoilers )

Strong beginning, ridiculous and overdone angst wallowing, hero who alternates between nice and creepily possessive, awesome heroine, awesome supporting cast, ending issue laden on every possible level. (Seriously, Masami Tsuda? SERIOUSLY??? That’s your answer to semi-closet bisexuality? REALLY?)

So, I'm reading the abducted nun book from this poll. It's rather awful, but not in the "KILL KILL KILL!!" way. More in the "Does the prose get more overwrought? Are there any more cliches to be worked in?" way.

There have been a number of "Choice" lines so far, such as the paragraph that was the heroine asking herself questions. But then there was this:

Nay, he'd not give her cause to taunt him yet again that his manhood was not sufficient to keep her in check.

*sporfle*

No context, because you don't deserve it.  Or because it's more entertaining that way.  You decide.

He surveyed his friend one night as Cameron kept her leeched to his side-as if he could not bear to be parted!
