manhwa: Angel Diary Vol 9
Aug. 17th, 2009 11:07 amI started this volume confused as I couldn’t remember what was going on, since I read volume 8 back in January. Then I realized that it wasn’t the time lapse, but the fact that the story was focusing on how Ryung and Se-in ended up together. (Err…not “together” together. I don’t think. Then again, they might as well be.) While I don’t dislike either, neither is really a favorite. This volume wrapped that up, then switched to a fight between Doh-Hyun and Se-In.
So, basically, this is not my favorite volume because it was all about three characters that I like ok, but am not nearly as fond of-or interested in-as I am of the other characters! There was far too little of Bi-Wal, Dong-Young, Queen Hong, and the rest of the Guardians for me. Well, Dong-Young was around for a good bit of it, she just didn’t get to do much.
The end of the volume, though, has the potential for some very interesting things to happen next.
