(no subject)

Finally home from relatives.  Last night, I learned that my nephew now talks all night long.  You can actually hear the talk change:  he tries to keep himself up by talking and then it drifts off and after a few minutes, nonsense talk starts up.  Meanwhile, the 3-month-old sleeps 10 hours without making a peep.

I came home to Babylon 5 and a disc of Marple from Netflix, and the copy of Wives & Daughters that I ordered from Amazon recently when it was cheap.  I've seen it before, but wanted my own copy. BBC should knock off the Jane Eyre and Austen remakes and adapt more of Gaskell's stuff.  Though they are making a second season of my love Cranford. I think it's supposed to air soon and is supposed to combine what little is left of the book and I think Moorland Cottage. 

The Marple series, incidentally, has finally reached the point where the massive rewrites are actually decent and help contribute to the entertainment, instead of the series still being enjoyable despite them. The one I just watched had a mini!Marple.

BTW, I'm currently about 20 book and manga posts behind, so expect spam sometime soon.
