Family and I just watched Spiderman 2 (Currently viewing choices are dictated by a near-4-year-old) which I had never actually watched before, despite enjoying the first one, because the previews looked like it was too muh about Peter's Angst.  Which...was a rather dull stretch of the movie for both the nephew and I, and we both just wanted more fight scenes.

Midway through, there was a scene with MJ and her fiance (during which my brother told the nephew to shush, because there was kissing going on) and I realized that John Jameson was being played by Elijah from Vampire Diaries.  So in that last bit, where my sister-in-law was all "Poor guy!  He seemed so nice!" I was "Why isn't he ripping people's hearts out?"


Unrelated:  DW folks, any idea why DW says I have 100 icons available, but it's still only letting me use 15?

My parents assume I would know (in theory, not in practice) how to kill a person with hemlock.

How do I feel about that?
