Apr. 9th, 2011 07:59 pmIt was 99 degrees Fahrenheit today. 99 degrees. This is still supposed to be the relatively cool part of the year! Though, we had over 100 days straight in the triple digits last year, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Meanwhile, I'm watching the 1950s Robin Hood series with Richard Greene. It isn't the most amazing thing ever, but it's pretty fun and solid, and you can see where it's influenced other versions. Also, the themesong makes me want to sing along. But the best part is that the DVDs still have the "sponsored by" voiceover and ad for each episode, and it's all "This new product is the most revolutionary thing ever!" and it's all obsolete stuff, or things that now have 20-odd knock-off brands. (I love old ads.)
