Quick heads up:  Amazon has Rosemary Sutcliff's The Lantern Bearers and The Silver Branch for $3.60 each.  (Print, not Kindle.)  These are the two that go with The Eagle of the Ninth (the only book of hers I've read so far) to make up her "Roman Britain" trilogy.

Also, I'm on the last episode of season 2 of Downton Abbey and have FEELINGS.  Not all positive?  The short version is that I like all the women even more than last season, but hate all the men except Matthew (who I have no problems with as a character, though I'm somewhat uneasy at times with the show's stance on him) Thomas (whoI don't actually LIKE,but who has been rather interesting this season) and Carlisle (who I also don't actually like, but he's a good antagonist.)

This one is HARD.  Not just to think of pairings you like (there are PLENTY that I've liked-to-loved over the years, but to have 20 on my mind at one time!) but also the renaming.  But it's fun.

There are certain ones prozacpark and lyssie aren't allowed to guess on.  They know which.  I probably won't crosspost answers between DW and LJ?  ETA:  Forget that idea. Too much trouble for a lazy girl.

Hint:  There are no pairings for US TV shows on their first season.  These encompass almost every form of media I consume.
