Didn't read any of Legend of the White-Haired Demoness this week.

His Majesty's Hope by Susan Elia MacNeal. Third in a mystery series about a British born mathetics expert who was raised in the US by her lesbian, university professor aunt who returns to England to settle family affairs just as WWII starts, and ends up staying and getting recruited by MI-5. I intend to actually post on the series as a whole sfter this one.

Mr. Churchill's Secretary and Princess Elizabeth's Spy by Susan Elia MacNeal. See above.

7 Seeds Vol 1 by Yumi Tamura. Currenmt and much praised scifi shoujo by the mangaka of my favorite shoujo ever. Four young people wake up on a raft and find themselves on a deserted island filled with strange vegetation and little-but equally strange-animal life. The volume is mostly introducing the characters and having them attempt to survive their new environment. Much is hinted at but very little-including what's going on-is revealed in this volume, though I know various plot details via fandom osmosis. Apparently a lot of people don't like the mian character inthis volume, but I'm fine with her. I'd probably react about the same in that situation. Also, I find it a bit distracting how much a couple characters resemble Basara characters, especially since a limited imagination when it comes to character designs isn't something that Yumi Tamura suffers from.

More of the above. Also, the library branch near me got some manga and graphic novels in recently, so iI intend to make the trek to the main branch soon to see if they got more too. (It's sometimes hard to tell what volumes of what the library system has from the website.)
