Remember my post a couple weeks back about still having pulsing in my ear from an ear infection after finishing the antibiotics for it?  When i went back to the doctor, I was told there was no sign of an infection, but that there was a lot of drainage from congestion in both ears, which probably caused the first infection and could cause another (yay!) so I got the steroid shot in the rear and one of those packs of medicine where you start with 6 pills a day and it goes down by one each day (the incredibly gross tasting ones that start disintegrating as soon as moisture touches them and you feel like your mouth is going to die and it takes at least a full glass of water to take care of the aftertaste) and like the first medication, it helped but didn't make the problem go away.  So back to the doctor I went on Tuesday.  (I should mention that this was 3 different Drs/RNs at an urgent care clinic, because my current PCP had no openings.)  This time the fluid was completely gone from the ear that's bothering me and only a tiny bit in the other, but I do have a sinus infection and the nasal passage swelling is causing pressure and that's what's causing the pulsing now.

Currently I'm on another antibiotic, singulair, flonase, zyrtec and mucinex dm.  I'm fairly certain you couldn't actually add anything else to the mix without either killing me or negating the others.  Cross your fingers that it works this time.

I am also banned from dairy products (During hot chocolate season!) until this clears up.

Because of all this, I still haven't gotten around to getting a new PCP set up for next year.
