Smart bookish dude being fascinated with a whirlwind of a heroine seems to be one of Liang Yusheng's own fascinations. In Jianghu San Nuxia, two such guys fall for the same woman. Guy 1, the official boyfriend, is ill and recuperating while Girl is off having adventures, while Guy 2 admires Girl from afar, having too much respect for both Guy 1 and Girl. I've read the next book but only remembered Girl ended up alone after husband died, forgetting whether her husband is Guy 1 or Guy 2. As in her youth, no one sees anything wrong with a super-strong lady who brings down a roomful of men without even moving a muscle. /fangirling Anyway, I'm still searching for a printed-and-bound version of Legend of the White-Haired Demoness, because I'll finish reading it faster that way.
