I have no idea if this is an official or fanmade thing, but I have discovered a 5 page Samurai Deeper Kyo/Get Backers comic.

*shudder*  I am now picturing an Akira/Akabane teamup and/or battle from those two panels.  There's a lot of blood...really, Japan would be gone before they realized the need for an evacuation.

I suppose this is a tad late, but I remember reading about this and never thought I'd see it. It's an official thing--Kamijyo and the manga-ka of Get Backers and Rave Master teamed up to create a spectacular work of crack. I didn't know that it was this cracky, though.

Cool. From the art I THOUGHT it was official, but I wasn't sure.

It is truly pure crack...and this is said about fandoms where people like Hotaru and Akabane make the oddest things canon.
