Okay, that really doesn't sound right. About 7-10 years ago, I was one of those people possibly misdiagnosed and I abused my medication. (The combination of school and work led me to binge on aderall so I didn't have to sleep.) They probably started stricter regulations on the drug because of people like me.
The only time I ever hallucinated, though, was once I hadn't slept in a few days and thought I saw my cat come down the stairs twice to greet me when I got home.
This show really does sound kind of bogus. In addition, it sounds like it glamorizes ADHD medication addiction which I am so not down with.
