A touch hyper, I'm told(and kinda noticed)
Car is back and fixed. Radiator drain was clogged. Found out that the water pump needed replacing too, though. The difference in parents:
Dad: How much did it cost?
Me: $160.
Dad: I remember when those were $10-$15. ::Braces self to be asked for money. Doesn't happen.::
Mom: How much did it cost?
Me: $160
Mom: That's not too bad. ::Braces self to be asked for money. Doesn't happen.::
And you can tell when the owner has known you since birth:
Me: How much will it cost?
Mr. Baxter: Around $170
Me: ::Teensy pained noise.::
Mr. Baxter: ::instantly adopting kind, fatherly tone:: Now, can you handle that, or do you need me to call your father and work it out with him.
And...vewy vewy important trades have arrived(Starman and Shockrockets) along with about a months worth of the 3 months behind I am on monthlies. It feels like Christmas.
