Being a fan of Greek myth, I rather liked One Good Knight. I do like how Mercedes Lackey is able to create an entirely different set of rules of magic for each world she writes. Have you read any of the elemental magic books? (Fire Rose, Phoenix and Ashes, Serpent's Shadow, and Wizard of London.)
