These are absolutely wonderful!!! Almost all of my favorite movies. :D (I've never seen Willow.)

Thank you for sharing!

If I take, how do I credit?

Ahaha my first thought upon seeing 65 was "Brain Freeze!"

Good lord, Labyrinth, Princess Bride and Willow were the movies of my childhood (infact, Westley and Madmartigan were my first ever crushes. My heart still skips a beat!). And I'm DYING to see Stardust (though I have my reservations about Claire Danes)

Having said that, I'm taking (and will credit): 3, 17 and 39.

Thank you for such wonderful icons! ♥

Claire Danes IS Yvaine. Don't worry about it at all.

This is the best cast movie EVER. It's the best movie ever. Much better than Cats. I'm going to see it again and again.

Now I want the DVD and Neil Gaiman better do the commentary. It's not like he's not busy with everything under the sun... oh wait, he is. I'll excuse him if he is working on Death and Me (Death: the High Cost of Living), but only then. If who is being cast as Death were to leak out, I won't be upset either.

These are all amazing. When I get back to my own computer, I will decide which to borrow. These are my absolute favorite movies of all time. It's nice to see someone else who loves them. I'll admit I'm nervous about posting Stardust icons because I can never figure out what is spoilery.

I was wondering did you do your own screencaps or are you willing to share your source? TIA

Thanks! These are pretty -- I'm taking 29, 38, and 40 from the Princess Bride set.

Stardust sent me off in a posting/iconning tizzy over my favorite movies. I tend to think that MOST people getting Stardust (or any) icons will probably have a good idea of what happens, in theory, they at least know or can figure out from the previews who the good and bad guys are and who the romance is between. My last icon batch had one icon with a specific spoiler, but that's it.

My source is google, though the pictures have to be worked with to be usable. I have all these on DVD, but my computer's disc drive won't read DVD format.

Well, then, you must fix that and see Willow promptly.

just put "by meganbmoore" in the comments for the icon.

Westley and Madmartigan(along w/ Han Solo and Indiana Jones, though not as much) were my first crushes, too, and are largely responsible for my adult shipping/crushing tendencies.

I had reservations about Claire Danes, too, since I've only ever seen her in weaker roles before, but she did an excellent job.

Yes, yes you must. I forget, have you seen Willow at all before?

Thanks. I think I love Stardust more each day since seeing it.

never, and sadly I can't find it in torrents too. but I'll definitely search around the city, because in your recap it sounds like absolute must-see.

It is much awesome, though of course, I'm biased.

Madmartigan is basically Han Solo with a sword in a lot of ways. And there is crossdressing.

I'm much more into Luke Skywalker (there'll be much finger-pointing now, right?), but it still sounds wonderful. also this Madmartigan guy? HOT.

I like both Luke and Han myself. Who says you can't like both?

Luke you pat on the head and say "Go forth and be heroic!" Then you turn to Han, point after Luke, and say "Go make sure he doesn't get himself killed."

sorry, wrong account ^^''

lol, that's most perfect description of them I've ever heard. XD
and then, of course, you turn to Leia and say "Please, make sure that those two will do everything right"
=)

(I was wondering, but I swear I've seen the other before)

It is, isn't it? The hero, the rogue, and the girl better than both put together.

I (almost) always love the hero, but I always have a thing for the guy who's in it just to keep someone from getting themselves killed.

I usually don't care much for rogue alone, but combine him with hero and I'm totally hooked. they work so much better in tandem than separately - they bring out each other nuances left unseen in any other way.

it's not the Big Sekrit or something, it's just written in Russian and deals with RL rather than fandom. I just slip with re-login from time to time, clumsy me.

On their own, the hero is too pure and noble and you want to punch him in the face just to make sure he can cuss, and the rogue ends up being too much about attempts at being clever and his not quite being on the moral up-and-up until you want to roll your eyes, but combine them and they're great.

In Star Wars terms, we know Luke and Leia will always do what's right and try to save the universe. OTOH, we don't know if Han will try to save the universe or if he'll just say screw it and go haul them out of the line of fire, or just decide they don't need him anymore(not that Han has enough faith in their ability to stay aline for 5 minutes without him)...all we know is that he'll be in it to haul their bacon out of the fire, even if they don't want him to.

ah, well, if it's written in russian, then friending it would be rather pointless for me...
