I think there are far too many fangirls who look at Sasuke and think "I wish I were him, and had Yukimura to take care of me, oooh! And I'd go on adventures with him and sleep by his side ... and late at night we'd forget that I'm a little boy and ... ."
Fangirls also want to pair everyone up, and as we've discussed before, there simply isn't anyone for Yukimura (and the only person he seriously crushes on - except in the "Dragon" flashback - is Kyo, regardless of whether you consider that just manly admiration or something more amorous ...).
(Why is it that people can see Gojyo's treatment of Goku as big brother/little brother, but go all stupid with Yukimura and Sasuke? I really think it's because there are other match-ups for Gojyo - either you go almost-canon with Hakkai, or you take the simplest canon and say "He only likes girls girlsgirls!")
