You know, I can't see Kyo being much of a homebody. I'm willing to bet he goes on road trips wherein he visits with old buddies (like Yukimura and Benitora and Bontenmaru) and slaughters bandits and such. And probably depends on Kyoushirou and Sakuya to keep an eye on Yuya and the brats (they seemed to be living not too far away in the little afterward comics).
We already know what kind of a martial arts teacher he is, and I bet he'd be just as tough on his kids, with Yuya fulfilling the Bon-mother hen role. What about girls and swordsmanship? He certainly doesn't seem to disapprove of Yuya having her gun or the blade that Muramasa gave her, or suggest that Mahiro shouldn't be fighting (in fact, per Bontenmaru, re Mahiro, he seems to think it's a good idea for girls to have weapons training in troubled times). (To say anymore on that score might spoil things ... but meganb, you know Kyo had another teacher besides Muramasa, right?)
"Yuya had a baby girl last week. It's just as red and noisy as the last brat and eats like a pig. Anyone who comes within 100 yards of my daughter without due notice will be slaughtered without warning, so I'd check in with Kyoushirou and Sakuya first if I were you."
