Why, Christopher Judge, why?

meganbmooreAs mentioned before, Teal'c of Stargate SG-1 is the epitome of the stoic manly man. However, in season 4, we are forced to endure this:
I understand this is because Christopher Judge grew it and no one wanted to tell him how stupid it looked.
I feel someone needed to point out that costars don't let costars display their bad facial hair the the world(note that historically required facial hair is an exception.)
I long for the return of this:
Can you not see how the goatee ruins the image completely?
I hope the world of Stargate SG-1 will right itself in tomorrow's viewing.
