No, I don't think so. He shows up a few times and has a major superiority complex & clashes tons with Sam.
He's very annoying in SG1 but becomes a major character in Atlantis where his character developes & he's one of my favorites, now. . . . Just looked it up & I guess he doesn't show up till Season 5... sorry.
