Exactly. It sometimesd felt like she was coming at the book from several directions. And yeah, Leo was just a good looking psycho, but not in the interesting way. The scenes where she was supposed to be enthralled by/drawn to him, I wondered if he had mind control powers or something, because it was all I could think of to account for why there wasn't laughing or well-placed knees.
