Sometime soon, I shall watch something un-awesome and ruin my wonderful streak of aweome viewing.
I shall use Kougaiji icons until I get Zuko icons.

Important Topic Of Discussion #1: Old Guys Rock
I believe it is a rule. There is, of course, Uncle Iroh, who is either the world's best or the world's worst hostage. Not only that, but I feel quite certain that without him, Zuko would be and evil evil bitter bitter villain with much unfun emo, instead of wonderfully and lovably emo-tastic with "I shal be an antagonistic anti-hero until a Great Plot Device forces me to switch sides." I suspect prolonged exposure to Uncle Iroh in a loincloth taxed Zuko's sanity. Probably because it made it diddicult to be properly emo.
Then there's the earth nation king, who was just awesome. His identity was rather obvious from the start, but who cares? For that matter, the whole earth nation capital city was pure crack and I demand more.
"MY CABBAGES!"
"blahblahblah...and malicious destruction of cabbages."
Important Topic of Conversation #2: Aang Has No Brain
Or at least only knows how to apply it to near-suicidal things. It is very telling that his friends are so used to things that they are utterly unphased by his jumping of the 10-tom flying bison. Then there's the joyriding...ok, really, there's anything he does of his own volition. Really, though, these flashbacks to Important Influences On Aang's Life are rather concerning...were there no sane, reasonable people in his life before Katara?
Randomly:
*I was quite worried that "chase the avatar or rescue my uncle" would make poor Zuko's head explode. Thankfully, he has his priorities straight.
*Uncle Iroh even interupts Zuko's angst from afar...by leaving smelly clues.
*That was a wonderfully flaboyant slaver captain. "then wake up someoneI haven't thrown overboard and search the rig" was most excellent.
*I feel the true hero is Momo, as he(?) always seems to be saving the day. I approve.
*And on that subject "that lemur is earthbending" is almost as good as 'malicious destruction of cabbages."
*The best character type is the snarky powerless sibling with powerful siblings/sibling figures. After the emotastic angt muffins. Clearly, my favorites remain the same.
*That was a wonderfully convenient Loss of Necklace, not to mention Convenient Pending Plot Excuse. I anticipate it's future use greatly.
*THE BOOMERANG DIDN'T GO BACK TO SOKKA! I was depresed. It found its way home again, of course...
*It seems tossing fireballs with your feet preps you for kicking boulders. Or am I not supposed to think about how that should break Zuko's feet, rather like flamable things?
