Now, before I get to the book: Vol 11 isn't out until March? What? Vol 10 came out before I started reading the series! *will pace self more now*

*Hmmm...so that was the famed eye loss? I must say, for all the buildup, I expected something a bit more dramatic. Very interesting bit of the story, though, and certainly not something you'd expect to see coming.

*And then we have Domeki researching and carting around books that are not for school. Despite my encountering 2 instances of this in a week, far, far too little fiction realizes and utilizing the appeal of a boy with weapons who always has a book.

*And then we get meta on bookworms and how locking a book away can destroy it? I love you, Clamp. I don't trust you to not FUBAR things in the end, but...

*Watanuki really is 100% a shojo heroine, isn't he? Of course, it's why we love him. (Even if someone us do sometimes want to smack him into calmer behavior) Hmm...if Watanuki is a shojo heroine, what does that make Yuko?

*Gotta love Watanuki limiting how much beer Yuko is allowed to have...and get away with it.

*The story with the picture was...odd. Interesting, but odd. Nice to see Yuko's less-nice side. (Watanuki is so lucky she likes him)

*And I want Yuko's bathtub. Seriously. *covets it even more than Yuko's wardrobe*

BTW, I tried watching Curse of the Golden Flower earlier, but it was so gilded I thought I'd go blind. Plus, corsets in the Tang Dynasty.
