super cheap anime(and things Amazon needs to quit offering me)

1)   Rightstuf.com has a codeword sale going to get Manga Entertainment DVDs at 50% off, 55% if you're a gotanime member.  I am pondering some combination of Noien, Tactics, Karas and Tokko, but the non-consumer-me points out that I would be wiser to sit this sale out.  Sale ends Feb. 17.

2)  Amazon has the complete Witch Hunter Robin series on sale for $23.49.

3)  Not anime, but Amazon can stop shoving King of the Lamp in my face now.  Finally got to look through it and as near as I can tell, it's about a genie slutting his way through every school girl in Japan.  No thanks.  (I don't get the love for the mansluts at all, really, with a few character-specific exceptions.)  It can also stop offering me Tsubasa and Cantarella, as I now have all the available volumes, and half the ones Amazon is offering me are volumes I bought from Amazon...

I finally (2 weeks later...) got my manga order from Amazon! Now I just need the time to read them... sad.

I don't know man, I couldn't get into Karas. I'm sure I'll watch the next movie and all, but it was all sort of lost on me and I didn't really CARE.

Witch Hunter Robin though, I need to look into that sale.

I have...a ton of manga from rightstuf's last 2 sales on the way. I shouldn't even THINK about getting anything else, manga, anime or otherwise.

Oh, don't worry...I could tell just flipping through King of the Lamp in the store that if I read it, there would be a hate rant posted here.

I watched the first Karas when it first came out over here...I vaguely remember it...I think I enjoyed it, but wasn't involved, and was annoyed by the "ending."

I've been seriously contemplating picking up the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex sets during this Rightstuf sale, but with Katsucon this weekend, I'm probably better off waiting until the next time they run a Manga Entetainment special.

The more you buy from the the more stupid the software gets.

I giddily browsed and rated my recommendations page for half a year, until I realised that Amazon.de was too stupid to remember what I had purchased from them after that time and would recommend it again, even though it was rated and whatever.

I haven't bothered visiting my recommendations page much since then, but those "also bought" recommendations do come in handy now and again.
