So, I'm about 1/2 way through Green's "Deathstalker Return"(450 pages of teensy print) The man's mind disturbs me. Deeply. And fascinates me. I alternate between giggling uncontrollably(mostly anytime Brett is mentioned, Lewis asks sentient planets and 50 foot monsters to please return Rose or Emma Steel's new sidekick opens her mouth) and wanting to back away very, very slowly.

We have 1 DVD player that's jammed, and another connected to a sound system that keeps shorting out...oy...

My parents wanted to go to Grand Prairie easter weekend and Myles and Jen were suppose to come...only now they aren't, and I already put in the vacation time, so it's just me and my parents...sigh...hmmm...I wonder if they have any comic shops in Grand Prairie...

Shura no Toki: I'm really enjoying this one. Like Inu Yasha it has a serious central story with a lighthearted approach to storytelling that keeps it from dragging or being too serious. While the mid episode time jump was disconcerting, I don't mind it TOO much, as the only other option was to start dragging things out. They also manage to make the characters similar enough that if you liked the first arc, you're pretty much guaranteed to like the second arc too, without making Takato and Subaru copies of Yakumo and Shiori.

Mahunter #7: Once again, proof that(barring total and complete suckage) you give a book a few issues to prove itself.

Seven Soldiers #0: Good beginning, good ending, "whatever" in between.

X-Force: Shatterstar #1: What's that, Marvel, 22 pages of Shatterstar for $3? SOLD!!!! mineminemineminemine. Fortunately, it didn't suck. Art's acceptable enough, plot doesn't seem bad so far, and Shatterstar himself was done pretty well(glares at Marvel for not putting effort into Jubilee like they did this. It was pretty obvious they just told Kirkman "use this character and write a high school story.") So I'm happy.

X-Men: Age of Apocalypse: MY EYES!!! MY POOR EYES!!!! I'd claw them out, but there are too many pretty pictures left to see. And, yeah right, THAT society is going to exist a year later. Sure. NOT AoA.

X-Men: Age of Apocalypse One Shot: AoA. Or at least a reasonable facsimile.
