To finish using up a roll of film, I took pictures of the bookcases with unread books. Because I could. Behold my inability to hold a camera steady (in my defense, both legs and arms were still jelly...) Feel free to yell at me for not having read anything you think I should have by now(assuming you can make out the titles...)
This one has most of my paperback novels. They are vaguely organized (starting in the top left corner, including the stack on the side) by classics/mysteries/general fiction(there may be a chick lit or two in there...I've never actually read a chick lit all the way through...) then sff, then romance, then a few gothics at the bottom. On top of the bookcase, you can see some of my porcelain dolls, and 3 of my collection of fairy candleholders, though those kinda blend into the wall.

The bulk of the manga backlog, plus some trade sized books. There are DVDs at the top and bottom.

The backlog of US comics once I added May comics to it. It isn't nearly as bad if you remove the Top Cow compendiums...

Hardcovers and larger trades, and the newer things there's no room for in the regular places. You see that 3 foot stack? There's nothing like a 3 foot stack of books(and a few DVDs) that you have nowhere else to put to make you go "hey, I should go on a reading binge..." BTW, the stack is BEFORE the books I ordered from Amazon got here. The piece of art lying flat is a Wendy Froud print I keep meaning to get matted and framed. And a little more of the porcelain doll collection. Between this and the first pic, this is...uhm...a little over a third of it, I think. The manga you can see peeking out from behind the paperbacks are my Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai Deeper Kyo collections.

I am forbidden to die until I have completely cleared out my reading backlog, and every series I read has been completed. As you can no doubt tell, I am effectively immortal.
