Of Swords and Parasols

That's interesting! It's been a while since I read this, but I remember loving it a great deal. And yet, for once it is the plot and big reveals that I can remember, without as strong a sense of the characters and the 'feel'; usually it's the reverse. I wonder how I'd feel after a re-read? (The only one of her books that I've read more than once is 'Winter Rose', which holds up very well through multiple re-reads.) Okay, that can go onto the list of things 'to do at some future unspecified point'.
