I actually don't have a lot to say that I didn't already say here.  About half the stories here actually didn't have people visiting Shadow and Maria's shop, and some seemed to be dealing with their pasts.  Shadow also seems to almost show a mildly benevolent side.  I'm not sure how I feel about that, as I rather liked his seeming to not have one.

Unfortunately, the internet informs me that this is the last volume.  This makes me very sad, as I like the series.  I wanted to know what Shadow is!  And Maria!  And why Maria looks like a kid!  Especially since she doesn't like younger men!  (poor Shadow...)  And why Shadow is collecting evil souls!

I know sadness!
