Ch 167: In Yuuko’s store room, I recognize Kurogane’s sword, and I think real!Syaoran gave her one, but what’s the third sword? And am I forgetting the bird? For a moment, I thought it was the second egg Yuuko mentioned, but then I remembered that she gave that egg to Doumeki. (And then Clamp reminded us, because Clamp knows how these things hurt the brain at times.) Those 2 panels of items are obviously pretty significant, but I don’t recognize all the items. Not sure which ones I’m just not remembering ATM, and which we don’t know about yet. And so Watanuki was definitely a result of real!Syaoran’s turning back time. I guess we’d already figure out that it was like that, but I was still hoping he’d end up being his own person from the start, as opposed to a version or part of real!Syaoran. Hrm…I wonder if this means CCS!Syaoran/Sakura are dead, or if Watanuki’s memories of his parents dying is part of the fabrication.

Ch 168: Darn, I guess it does mean that. Or it’s just what Watanuki thinks. *clings to futile hope* And his guilt over that is why he’s haunted by spirits? Ouch. But the real reason Watanuki fell wasn’t because of Himawari’s luck, but because of the Syaoran/Syaoran fight? SOMEONE GO TELL HIMAWARI IT ISN’T HER FAULT! And are the twins now…err…bodyless? Or are the bodies still there, they just aren’t using them. And did Yuuko just say that Watanuki is Syaoran’s real name?

Ch 169: Clamp, xxxHolic chapters are short as it is. Why are you making them shorter? I forgot about Cooking Girl’s saying that eating her own cooking was disgusting. That’s just kinda weird. When did Watanuki stop wearing glasses?
