Key To Conspiracy is one that you read only if you are into "snarky" reading. The third book was the worst. Everything that people hate about the current Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton is true of this series. There is no logic to it. You don't like the lead (at least I didn't) and it contradicts a bunch of standard rules of psychology (though the sex therapist bit in the third book was probably the one where I laugh the hardest). Read at your own risk. Admittedly, it was a cool idea, just totally lost on how to implement it.
Alex Archer books are definitely hit and miss. STart with the first and go from there. I read it because I thought it would be similiar to Indiana Jones or Tomb RAider. Not quite.
