I've always wondered if the experience with Alichino turned Shurei Kouyu off working on manga in general. She still does illustration work, obviously, and in theory was supposed to be working on the fourth volume of Alichino, but I don't think I've ever heard of her publishing it or another manga. It's a shame, since her art is amazing and she might have turned out something really impressive once she got her storytelling feet under her.
