The problem with the Disney movie are even adressed in the text in our English schoolbook when we talk about the Pocahontas story as part of introducing the kids to the US and the Native American heritage (other things are Wounded Knee, Custer, Squanto and the Pilgrim Fathers). We're talking about a Bavarian schoolbook for 8th grader English here.
