Watched This Week:
Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone
Harry Potter & the Chamber of Secrets
Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban: Yes, I finally set down and watched the Harry Pooter movies. Quite fun, and, unlike most movies, not pretty unpredictable. I'm fully convinced that the boys wouldn't last five minutes without Hermione.
Horatio Hornblower: The Fire Ships
Horatio Hornblower: The Duchess and the Devil: I enjoyed the first Hornblower movie, but I think that these two were a lot better. The moviemakers don't seem as stiff as they were in the first movie, and Ioan Gruffud seems a lot more at ease. Very good movies, glad I cabed in and got them when amazon had the full set for cheap a while back.
The Humphrey Bogart Collection (The Big Sleep/The Maltese Falcon/Casablanca/Key Largo): Good stuff all around. I think "The Big Sleep" was my favorite.
Skeleton Key: Very, very pleasant surprise. The ending alone was worth it, but the whole thing is very well done, despite a slow beginning.
Sky High: Hollywood's best original gift to comic book fans for a good while. Extensive "research" on the source material was conducted. Xaviers doesn't get that fun...or quotable.
Read this week:
Basara Vol 15
Hana Kimi Vol 8-9
Tom Strong Book 4
Usagi Yojimbo vol 2-7
W Juliet Vol 7
Nothing to say about those that I haven't said about previous volumes.
Birds Of Prey #89: NO! GAIL! Don't take Savant away!
Blade Of The Immortal #108
Cannon Hawke #4
Captain America Vol 5 #13
Cisco Kid #3
Drax The Destroyer #4: Curse you Keith Giffen, curse you...
Gatesville Company #2
Generation M #2
Hunter Killer #5
Hunter Killer Dossier: Book is now safe, due to the possibility of Ellis freaking out and massacreing them all(boy's not stable...)
Infinite Crisis #3: Aaah...Jiminez drawing the amazons, as he should be, and Bats telling Kal-L to stick it...makes up for a lot.
JLA Classified #15
JSA Classified #6
Lonebow #1
Manhunter #17: ::watches JSA fans squawk and scurry around to get this book, based on a certain revelation::
Runaways Vol 2 #11
Silent Dragon #6: ::shakes head sadly:: And you started off so well...
Spellgame #2
Top 10 Beyond The Farthest Precinct #5
Vice #3: Y'know, there's really no point to having this book...it basically reads like they told someone to copy Hunter/Killer five minutes after apptoving the first series.
Wonder Woman #224: Yeah, so, this seemed rather pointless and drawn out after being so well done in just a few pages in Infinite Crisis.
