comics: Castle Waiting #11-13, 15

I was missing #14! I do not know how that happened, but I hate skipping an issue! Especially since Medley is using the construction on the castle to reveal characters’ backstories. In this case, I seem to have missed a part of Simon and his mother’s backstory.

Simon is half-giant! And his father was killed by Jack the Giant Killer! (Who is usually also Jack of “Jack and the Beanstalk.”)

There was also the doctor’s story, which was very sad. Though I loved Jain’s response to it.

This series has amazed me for some time in that it can entertain me with people wandering around looking for secret passages in a castle and working on some construction in their castle. Now it can apparently also entertain me with several issues that are mostly a bowling game. Not to mention make a bald stork in a suit obsess over the stitching in women’s lingerie not seem remotely pervy.
