SFF books with non-white protagonist

A curiosity post that's been percolating in the back of my head over the last few months amongst things like whitewashing book covers and movies and editors referring to women and POC as bits of vegetables.
In the comments (details/recs fine, but I'm mostly curious about creating a list) give me English language SFF books (standalone or series, YA or adult) in which the central protagonist is:
A. Human
B. Not white
C. "Not white" by birth, as opposed to because of magic powers or alien experiments and whatnot.
And specifically the central protagonist, as opposed to "a main character" or "several important characters" but a white main character.
I'm posting to both LJ and DW, but would request that comments go to LJ, as that's where most traffic is, and where I suspect most comments will end up anyway.
