meganbmoore: (too many books)

So, apparently, there are rumors about Will Smith playing Captain America in the upcoming movie? I suspect this is more hype than anything else, but does anyone have any non-rage inducing links to share? Personally, this just makes me wonder if we’ll get, say, Beyonce as a secret agent working with the French Resistance. Because I could go for that, myself.

Anyway, the other day, [personal profile] snarp  posted a summary of every one of Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover books ever.  Or so I'm told!  I haven't actually read any.  I was challenged to do so and said "Nnnnnoooo!  My sanity!  And I kind of hated the one book of hers that I remember reading!"

But then I went to the UBS today because I read Rebecca this week and must have more of Daphne du Maurier's books (I got the ones I found except for a couple that sounded like "dude bored with life gets chicks.") and got the two Darkover books with exclamation points in the title.  I mean, exclamation points in the title guarantees crack, right? Though who knows if I’ll ever actually, you know, read them.

Also, for some reason, Netflix sent me Terminator: Salvation instead of the last disc of season 3 of Bones. I did not even realize I had T:S in my queue. I mean, why would I have Sarah-less Terminator stuff in my queue? I don’t even know why such a thing bothers to exist!

I enjoy Du Maurier, but I think Rebecca is really the highlight. Certainly the best I read. I do remember enjoying Jamaica Inn.
