Ooo, I just read Orlando for the first time and really enjoyed it!

It was good, but needed more Julie.

While logic tells me Julie may be better off not in the middle of a war zone, I miss their relationship a lot. Their interactions were gold.

See, I actually found it a bit odd that Kate would rather have Julie in a school with good-but-equipped-for-mortals security, as opposed to surrounded by an army of weres.

That does make sense. I think the logic was that they didn't know about Julie (or thought she was dead) so if she wasn't even on their radar, it was a better bet to keep them from even knowing she existed or was alive than to put her in even fortified potential harm's way.
