My parents were watching Wheel of Fortune earlier and the freebie letters were:

R S T L N E

I briefly wondered if the game board was possessed.

(R. L. Stine was [is?] the writer of tons of YA and kids horror books. I read tons of them as a teen, though often more because the school library had them than because I liked most of them.)

ETA: Apparently this is always the case? I had always wandered away or quit paying attention by the bonus round because I got bored waiting forthe players to guess the answers after I did.

As one who spent every evening of her childhood watching Wheel of Fortune with her parents (who get REALLY excited), RSTLNE are the freebie letters every time.

Yeah, I think they're always in that order, because I've always thought of R.L. Stine, too.
