I have come to a decision. In the future, when I see people utter anything resembling "I guess Beyonce is starting to think about feminist themes now that she's hanging out with Lady GaGa" I will simply reply with this video:

Possibly, I will also be snide and ask if GaGa Love* was the trend when that came out, too.

(I've actually only seen it a few times? But once was more than enough.)

*I have no issues with Lady GaGa or her fans, just with the "one true feminist voice in music no others existed before" attitude that seems popular in some places these days.

I thought Beyonce was doing that long before she was even a solo artist, back with Destiny's Child. so maybe Bills Bills Bills would be better?

The older the song, the harder to filter through everything! (Also, I've always feared getting familiar with Destiny's Child because I suspect it may lead to addiction.)
