I have just learned the fun way that pingbackbot strikes even when you're linking to yourself.  Mind you, I think that, in concept, pingback is not a bad thing as long as (A) it is on public posts only, and (B) you can opt out of your links triggering the pingback.  But who on earth thought a person would want notification of when they link to themselves.

Also, while this isn't exactly a new subject, when it comes to fandoms discussing pairing preferences with m/f/m preferences, why is it always "Team Dude" and not "Team Chick?"  Where're Team Buffy, Team Bella, Team Hermione, Team Katniss, Team Veronica, Team Elena, etc?  And why don't teams crop up that way when it's f/m/f?

I guess it can be handy for your readers, though, if they see the comment and want to see what you had to say about the topic in another post. I think that's the logic.

I guess it depends on who the hero is? Like Team Bella is "get out while you can girl" because it focuses on the character who is the center of the love triangle. A team is one of two, so if you say Team Hermione I'm going to assume it's the opposite of Team Ginny. Or Team Draco.
