My deep and introspective thoughts:

1. OMG that girl's stomach is a bottomless pit!
2. The oddest explanation for how the supernatural isn't supernatural yet? Well, maybe not "oddest"...
3. OMG there was no evil lesbian offing nubile young women for sexual reasons. My worldview is shattered.
4. I kinda really dig Diana's black leather. Also, I like how they actually take her role as an officer seriously, and she seems to be good at her job.

Unrelated, but: Have you ever seen Vampire Effect/Twins Effect? If not, I think you should remedy this. It's got a vampire with a nice stereo setup in his coffin, and these two martial artist girls who are trying to kill each other, until they team up to fight evil. I'm not actually sure what the plot was. Jackie Chan's in there, for no reason at all.

- and I just actually read that Wikipedia entry I linked to, and there's a "sequel," which doesn't have any vampires, and isn't actually about any of the same characters or situations. Its synopsis is a thing of beauty.

The story tells about how men are treated like slaves while women rule, because the queen hated men. She thought that her lover, Wei Liao, had betrayed her and so she became evil. There is one man to overthrow the queen, the Star of Rex. He would be the owner of the Excalibur and bring back the balance of the two genders.

I DO NOT SEE HOW EXCALIBUR RELATES TO THESE IDEAS
