1.  Sweet mercy woman (and don't even ask who I'm referring to), you are more hardcore about survival than anyone I've seen in years.  And, uhm, smarter and more effective than the rest of the cast combined. I mean, willing to be locked in the tomb forever because then you'd still be safe and alive?  (Also, aww, you really did care about people for reals at some point.  Ok, I believe you that you care about Stefan and think you were probably fond of Mason and Damon at some point, like pets, but I think we all know your claims of eternal love are only brought out to distract him.)

2.  I...kind of feel that Bonnie is somewhat returning to her early season 1 personality, with all the bubbliness and the Taylor Swift hair?  And she was my favorite then, too, but my "MOST FAVORITEST FOREVER!!" mindset comes a lot from the anti-vampires-ness.  Also, more black witches, this time, not ones where I can tell myself that it isn't "all witches are black" but "all the witches we've seen are from the same family."  And I...do not know how I feel about the "we prefer warlocks" line.  Like, part of me hopes that the show isn't using that for the (incorrect) "witches are female and warlocks are male" normal interpretations, but as "witches are good magicusers and warlocks are bad magicusers," which is the proper usage.  But then we have "evil black men" in a show with a history of racefail.  (I mean the only other black man to last more than 5 minutes was Harper, who died to show how badass John Gilbert is or something.)

3.  I was busy groaning at the Aztec curse bit the first time it came up, and so completely missed the show directly referrencing both "no sun for vampires" being relatively new-ish AND the oldest and most powerful vampires being able to go out in the sun with no problem.  A large part of why I can be interested in the vampires aspect is that, while it does have the "modern vampire angstmuffin" aspect, a lot of the actual history and mythology of the vampires seems to be based on Dracula/pre-Dracula myths, and not the Anne Rice/Buffy stuff.  (Note:  Never been interested in Rice.  Very fond of the first 5 seasons of Buffy, but not thrilled with how it's influenced vampire fiction overall.)

4.  Oh, Rose, in one episode you both pwned Damon and used him for sex.  Both of those get women killed with great frequency on this show.  Also, Slater aside, you tend to associate yourself with utterly terrible men.

5.  Damon, if you are not upfront with Bonnie about this...ok, well, actually, you can't sink much lower in my eyes.  But still!  Also, I see that Elena is scared to be alone with you anywhere, not just when you break into her room.  I was wondering if it was an "in general" thing, or directly related to the circumstance last ep, given that I don't recall their being alone together since then without plenty of other people nearby, or Stefan and/or Caroline in very close range, if out of the room.

6.  Caroline, you cannot lie to save your life, but you can try really, really hard for someone you care about. ETA: Uhm...is the next episode 12/2 or 12/22?

My tv said it was 12/2, but I thought the announcer said 12/22, so I am equally as confused. But 12/2 is a Thursday, and 12/22 is a Wednesday, so I think 12/2 is the right date.

BTW, how interested do you think people would be in a "fuck you she's awesome" fic exchange for the women of TVD?
