I have been 30 for a whole day now. Despite being single, childless, and with no prospects in sight to change either, I did not turn into a lifeless, grey-haired biddy with no life or sexdrive, and I'm pretty sure my ovaries didn't wail in agony as they shivelled up and died, either.
Looks like society and the media lied to me again.
(Ok, I do kinda want a cat, but that's not new for me.)

Date: 2010-12-15 05:52 am (UTC)Maybe you should consider buying a ferret instead of a cat? Cats are traditional companions of single ladies, but ferrets always make them stare (and start conversation which mostly begin like "what the hell is this?" or "why are you taking your rat on a walk???") ;D
I don't comment much (or at all...), but I definitely watch some of your recommendations and Pretty Little Liars is so much fun. :)

Date: 2010-12-15 11:24 am (UTC)And pshaw, I've wanted to be crazy cat lady with about thirty of them since I was, like, five. Age is no boundary to the joy of crazy-cat-ladying.
