My nephews are here so I'm not around as much and my fictional life is dominated by a 4 year old.  I was almost subjected to the Hulk movie with Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly, but he apparently thought it was the (way more fun) one with Ed Norton and Liv Tyler, so it's The Incredibles instead.  (Also, uhm...we may have watch an ep of the Ben Ten series when they're teens and I may have liked it.)

I have, however, made it through ep 3 of Paladins in Troubled Times. I shall post properly on it later, but meanwhile, it has this:


 

Context:  She is a thief he came across while breaking into a house (the owner's flunkies abducted his aunt and he's looking for her) and didn't want to tell her why, so they made a bargain that he'd tell her if she picked up something that he couldn't.  (She does not have superpowers, it hurt.  But she got what she wanted.)

Meanwhile, Fan Dude and Crossdressing Girl may indulge my wuxia heroine/villain kink-this is a kink almost exclusive to wuxia.  If not, I may have to go through the Trauma of rewatching Face to Fate.  And by "Trauma" I mean *overeager shoujo sparkles*.

Incidentally, I understand that the book this is based on was written by the same person who wrote the book that Bride With White Hair is based on.
