Warehouse 13, Season 2

So, the way people were going on about it, I kind of expected H.G. Wells to be in most of the season, not in 2 eps the first 2/3 and then the last few episodes? Anyway, she was a blast, up until the end. Look, fiction, can't we just call it quits with the whole thing where a person from the past reaches the present and decides that modern folks have just ruined the world? Like, I feel this always happens, including the deciding to destroy the world.
That said, I loved that her arc was about wanting to save her daughter (at least until she realized it couldn‘t be done). It made me think of a reverse of Anna's arc in TVD, but the resolution of her arc only annoyed me, as opposed to making me want to strangle the writers. (Internalized misogyny: Thankfully not something that whacks me over the head at least once an episode with Warehouse 13.)
I liked Claudia going out for field work a lot, but I suspect that, in the long run, she's going to prefer being the next Artie, but one who likes computers and thinks the artifacts are fun. (Also, while I think Eureka is the better show in general, the Warehouse 13 half of the crossover was the better half.)
Speaking of exceptions to things being the better of 2 good things, I usually think Joanne Kelly is the better actor of the two mains, Ryan McClintock killed everything in the bodyswap episode. (Maybe it's just Myka?)
But show, why did you have to kill Valda? It was such fun watching Mark Sheppard be the guy you kept expecting to be evil who kept not being evil. Also, please give Leena things to do.
Anyway, still great brain candy. (Who needs serious TV when the brain candy is so yummy?)
