Netflix review of Happily N'Ever After 2: Snow White Takes a Bite, which I'm about to watch.

This movie was cute, don't get me wrong, but I could not get over the fact that the original snow white was nothing like this girl in the beginning. So if you don't care about original disney, then yes it is a great movie, otherwise it may not be a big hit.

Because (A) Disney created Snow White and (B) Disney's Snow White is faithful to the original.


I'll be giggling in the corner over there.

Who on earth thinks that Disney's fairytale adaptations as even remotely faithful to the 'originals?' ....someone who has never, ever read the originals?

I see this more with Snow White than with other Disney fairy tales? At least the "old school" ones. I suspect part of it is that it's Disney's First.

And for that matter, the "originals" are oral traditions usually related by women that were written down by men. So.
