Once Upon A Time 1.7

Short version: Dude, that's what you get for mocking the red jacket.
So, seriously, basically everything about the Huntsman and Graham's angst was increasingly LOLarious every second. (I also finally figured out why his voice is weird to me...he always sounds like he's on the verge of crying.) But the faux medieval clothes did wonders for the hair. His beard actually looked like a beard and not like someone glued a bush of hair to his face while he was sleeping. (I don't dislike him, he's just so terribly easy to mock.) The most touchy-feely huntsman ever. Who was raised by wolves! And can feel nothing! except that he probably wallows in guilt for a week every time he accidentally steps on a bug. At 12, I would have thought he was the coolest and hottest guy ever and be devastated right now.
Anyway, LOLarious to the Nth degree, but entertaining.
I wish I was surprised at The Evil Queen being a rapist, but it actually does makes sense in the context of annoying narrative trends. I am so very ready for fiction to stop making every powerful women in a patriarchal worldwho is evil/very questionable be a rapist. (Ok, not every one, but it's a trend.) Regina/Graham, though, seems to have been consentual, unless we assume that she deliberately included his being her sex slave in her new world order. I have no idea if she did or not.
Also, dude starts getting his memories back, and he tells the person his memories are telling him is badbadbadevil, and then her 10-year-old son too? In her house? Bright he was not.
I did like the Snow White & Huntsman scenes a lot in both worlds, though she really should have aimed Higher when she konked him. (Also, wow, he was actually a lot more useful and helpful than practically every other version of the character so far except probably the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman version.) She should have aimed higher when she konked him, though.
And Mary Margaret, I'm very glad you aren't sitting around, pining for David, but Dr. Whale? Really? The guy who tuned you out on your first date because he was busy ogling a teenaged waitress? You can do so much better. (Speaking of Ruby, I hope we get the Red Riding Hood episode soon. Or just that there's more Ruby period. Also, is it just me, or does she literally light up every time she sees Emma?)
Uhm...I can't help but notice that this is two episodes in a row where our main character hasn't really done a lot? I mean, she's still been around, but I feel Emma has been sidelined 2 episodes in a row for men's stories. And while I liked both (well, liked one and was very amused by the other) I'm kinda harumph-y about that. We did go almost 2 episodes without Henry, though? And he wasn't particularly annoying this episode. Though his reaction to Graham makes Regina wanting to keep that relationship secret more puzzling than it was before. (I mean, I suppose it was because she's technically his boss? But this is a world she created, so if she created both their positions, I suspct she also could have made people not care.)
