Actually, I haven't watched most of last week's shows...

Lost Girl 2.21: I CANNOT BELIEVE THERE'S ONLY ONE EPISODE LEFT FOR THIS SEASON I FEEL A BIT LOST!

I did a lot of victorious fistpumping at Trick telling Bo he's her grampy. I LIKE MY THEORIES PAYING OFF OK. I hope this also means Aoife is making a return either in the season finale or in season 3.

Lauren, did you almost throw off your clothes and offer yourself to Bo for healing? I think you did, which means you really need sleep because I'm pretty sure sex with Bo when she's actually in serious need of healing would kill you.  Well, it wouldn't kill you now, but you wouldn't feel very well after.  Though apparently Bo's kisses (or almost kisses, as the case may be) have other superpowers.

Kenzi vs the Norn was aces, though I'm very concerned about how she's racking up unscrupulous fae who have some thing on her. (Ok, I think just The Norn and The Morrigan, but...)

I was really excited about Evony being in the episode but then most of her stuff seemed to end up basically being about humiliating her and I was less than pleased about that. I also can't believe we have Vex on Team Bo and not...well, someone fun and/or interesting. WHY MUST WE HAVE VEX. Also, of the 3 tragic deaths the only one who doesn't get a wake/memorial is the black woman? I mean, I know that the in canon reason is that Nadia literally knew 6 still-living people in town that we know of and isn't fae and had only been there a few weeks, but it's still narrative choices that led to that relative narrative isolation.

But guys THIS SHOW WHAT. HOW DID IT BASICALLY BECOME THE MOST EPIC THING ON TV? I mean, I'm pretty sure that it was pretty recent that it was only this silly cracky little urban fantasy show with lots of girls and very pro-all-sexuality. Which it still is, but BUT WITH 5 EXTRA POUNDS OF EPIC THROWN IN.

Once Upon A Time 1.17: Like the Grumpy episode, this episode felt largely like filler, but I thought it was way more fun filler and had a fair bit of Emma being badass and is more likely to actually impact the future plot.

BUT WHY IS THERE A WONDERLAND PLOT WITHOUT ALICE? I mean, I get that Grace/Page is meant to represent Alice, but I dunno. I've never gotten the big deal about Mad Hatter, or why everyone ships Mad Hatter/Alice (I mean, I liked it in the SyFy mini, but that's about it) so I'm kinda "eeeh" about his being our introduction to that world. Though, as he's apparently been to wonderland before, I wonder what happened? (I half wonder if Grace's mother is Alice and she's from wonderland, but I'm hoping that Grace finds her way to wonderland and brings him back.) Also, dude, isn't it more important that, unlike most people in Storybrooke, your daughter is HAPPY than whether or not she's with you?

I like Gold so much more when he's being a sneaky villain that when they're trying to convince me he's so layered and fascinating and sympathetic. Especially as they have yet to find a way to show me that that isn't via his using/killing/manipulating/abusing others. (Well, they did in his backstory ep but I was caught there on the fact that we learned he was basically a coward before he had superpowers.)

All of Regina and Jefferson's talk about family made me expect a "he's her brother!" reveal. I hope there's more backstory there. But Regina needs siblings.

Also, Jefferson should have given Emma back her clothes. It looked cold in that room! Maybe that kept distracting her! (Also, it's kinda really creepy that he took her clothes off, or at least everything she had on over that undershirt, even though it was probably to make sure she didn't have any weapons.)

Upstairs, Downstairs Series 2 (2012): In general, a much stronger series than the first, but pretty much every choice they made with Persie and her arc (at least in the second half) made me want to throw things. Anyway, I enjoy this series a good bit and enjoy the majority of the characters (I can no longer include Hallam as a character I like I'm afraid), but can't seem to get attached to it? But I did get to see Alex Kingston and Emilia Fox make out, and that's something.

Game of Thrones is apparently back today but I think the last book killed my interest in the franchise. But The Borgias is back soon!

It was only really recently that I realized Mad Hatter/Alice was a thing, (by going....wait, why is this crack-ship consistently showing up in adaptations...?) and I was completely baffled. I just couldn't figure out where that came from in the original text: maybe because he's almost the only human dude...?

My Thoughts on This Episode of Lost girl:

Thought one: Why Vex? Why not any other Dark Fae we've met? Why not the Oracle, she was awesome! I was really hoping for The Morrigan and was sad when she was not the chosen one.

Thought two: Yes, re: shaming of The Morrigan. I love her.

Thought three: I feel the show is beginning to embrace a bit more kinky, but I'm still bothered by the way some of the lesbian scenes are shot like straight dude pr0n. :( Like the one with Bo, Dark Fae Boyfriend, and the blonde fae women he "gave" her as a (non-speaking) present.

Ryan at least would have also caused a bit more logical conflict with Dyson & Lauren. Vex's thing was just... obnoxious.`
