Continuum 1.8:

I vote Keira and Betty do more cases together. Actually, I just vote Betty gets more screentime.

I'm amused by Kellogg's trying to get into Keira's good graces, but hope he isn't actually developing a genuine crush on her.

Anyway, apparently someone told the writers that the season was almost over because suddenly Things Happened.

So, future!Alex left present!Alec a message? But the way Liber8 was talking, I really hope this doesn't become The Alec Show the last couple episodes. Nothing against Alec, who is surprisingly likable for the character type, but I watch this show for Keira shooting things and being a walking encyclopedia.

Also, I find it really interesting that Alec and Keira were almost talknig about Keira as if she were a robot? But then, I increasingly wonder if the tech Protectors have installed actually does change the Protector's mind more and more.

Political Animals 1.2: I didn't like this as much as the pilot for one specific reason, but I still liked it a lot.

That reason being that Elaine and Susan didn't have scenes together! (I mean, they were only onscreen together for about 3 seconds at the beginning.) Though it did make me extra happy that we had Susan's narration of her story at the end. (And I was really glad that she didn't sleep with Bud, which I was afraid of.)

TJ! Don't steal from your grndmother! (She's the only one who will put up with anything that you throw at her.)

Doug and Ann appear to be extremely long suffering. (Doug, I'm not sure your mom's new girlfriend is the best person to go to if you're sneaking around behind your mom's back...)

It really shouldn't have, but thenot-Monica-Lewinski-no-really plot kinda cracked me up.

And Elaine invaded a bathhouse in her powersuit. Which is a common trope, but a fun one. (And how often does it come with her extremely uncomfortable looking son tagging along?)

Sinbad 1.3:

So, I'm thinking that almost every episode is going to have Sinbad shirtlessly writhing in agony as his deadline approaches? Maybe now that everyone on the ship knows about the curse (and I'm surprised that came this early) he can just chill onboard with the cook while everyone else goes on land? But then, that night be too smart for him.

This episode was fun (wouldn't mind seeing the merchant again) but no one is allowed to wear those clothes again. Well, Sinbad and the big blonde dude whose name I haven't learned yet were ok, but the rest can't wear those clothes again. (And in Rina's case, makeup.)

I'm thinking Sayid messed up bigtime kicking the mage out. She practices blood magic, dude!

This show inspires no deep thoughts yet, but is so much fun and so pretty, both in terms of scenery and in terms of people.

White Collar and Covert Affairs were both entertaining this week but didn't inspire much in the way of deep thinking. White Collar might actually manage to have a metaplot for the season that works for once, and Covert Affairs was better than other Auggie-centric eps have been. (Which is to say, my eyes didn't glaze over with boredom and wait for the next scene with Annie and/or Joan, as has been the case with previous Auggie-centric episodes.) That said, I think I have to unfollow the official twitter feed for CA because its mildly annoying in general but about 80% of the time it's more like an obnoxious Auggie fanclub that is making me actively dislike Auggie.
