Official trailer for Jack the Giant Slayer

Well, I'm not staring at my screen in horror like I was with the Hansel and Gretel trailer, but...

Also, I watched this yesterday (Netflix lists it as Knights of Bloodsteel)

You can FEEL Christopher Lloyd mourning his career and for some reason, the elves have fangs and so confused me by almost looking like vampires. Though, judge as you will, it was actually entertaining more often than not, though not necessarily for the reasons intended. (Also, that Snow White movie I watched where Snow is blonde set my low bar for bad fantasy movies.)

ETA: And while I'm at it, the trailer for Oz the Great and Powerful, which looks good and I liked Alice in Wonderland but I'm still having an instinctive negative gut reaction to making the main character a dude (I like Tin Man a lot, but wasn't bothering with it until I was reassured that DG was the main character, despite the title.)

instinctive reaction to 'are you the great man we've been waiting for' was 'no, it's james franco, AND ALL OF YOU ARE AWESOME, WHY ARE YOU WAITING FOR A DUDE ANYWAY. again, no, it's james franco, this cannot be stressed enough.'

but it's so pretty and the ladies look so cool, i will watch it for that, at least.

Yup, it looks good except for the "why are powerful witches asking some random American dude to save them?" part.
